My lady purchased a small close-up mirror that attaches to the bathroom mirror and I have found it quite useful for touch up shaving.

It really opens up a near molecular level of shaving. I was able to shave my bottom lip against the grain, something I just couldn’t pull off before. I had thought my coupe de maitre was sufficient, now I can baby but it.

I find though that for extremely close-up shaving I have to pretty much skip the cream and just hydrate before each stroke. I also change the angle drastically and take it real slow. So slow that it is not a regular routine.
