Thread: Ya gotta pay Attention!!!!

I have to tell you the whole story here to explain...
Last summer I put in a new blower fan in one of the propane heater stoves in the house...
About a month ago I start hearing a rapid thunk thunk thunk from the stove, so I swear at the blower fan thinking it is going out again and the up coming chore of changing it again...
I tell the wife to listen for it while I'm at work, she later tells me no problems...
Hmmmm I think to myself she wasn't paying attention
Well sure enough every morning at about 6:30 am, thunk thunk thunk,
only at that time, does the fan act up..
Well about 4 days ago, the wife in a womanly moment of brilliance says, "Honey, that sounds like a wood pecker" I think to myself "Yep she's an idiot, why would a wood pecker be pecking at a metal stove pipe on the roof"....
Well I go outside the next morning and sure enough there is a frigging wood pecker standing on the very top of the pipe thunk thunk thunking on the metal pipe cap... STUPID BIRD
So with my tail between my legs, I have to tell her that she was right, and in a manly moment, grab the 20ga. and head outside to kill this offending little ......
Well that didn't work, he was gone before I could even bring the gun to shoulder..
So as I get ready to shave this morning, I have the lather made, lather up, strop the razor, and THUNK THUNK THUNK I am shaking my head as a decide this bird is so gonna die. In that one second of inattention to that very sharp Real Red Point Razor at my face, I now have a nice slice in my cheek...
So I say to you all,,,,,, Pay attention to that edge at all times

Oh and trust me I am so hunting that bird down tomorrow morning !!!!!!
