I always shave at night. Right after I put the kids to bed, I take a shower and shave. For me, it's the transition time from work time to leisure time.

Thanked: 1In the morning, as that's when I shower. It's a nice wake-up supplement to the coffee. But using a straight razor, I really could shave at night and be clean-shaven all day long--something that really wasn't possible with cartridge razors!

At night. It's become a regular routine with my son before bedtime.

I shower when I get off work, kind of a necessity, then I shave right after. Thats in the P.M. but usually late afternoon or early evening not night.

Thanked: 351I shave after my evening shower, I like to go to bed clean and well shaven... the missus doesn't seem to mind either!
My beard doesn't grow all that fast so I find myself going 2 days between shaves if the razor is up to snuff... 1 day if it's a touch dull and doesn't shave quite as close as normal.
Regards

Thanked: 9Wow surprising. I always take my shower in the morning and thus shave after that. I'm quite new to using a straight and honestly I hadn't really considered trying it at night. I think I will give it a go, because I do find myself getting a little frustrated when it takes so long. Knowing that I don't have to rush it or get it perfect should make things easier.
