Thanked: 0shaving inside the ears
Does anyone use a straight razor to shave the hair growing in their ears? That has to be the true test of gung ho razor expertise.

I don't think it's such a big deal. I do it whenever needed. Admittedly, I haven't got many hairs which need trimming there.
I also shave my nose hairs.

Even barbers didn't do that. They used a sissor.

Funny you should ask.
My regular barber's away on vacation for the next 2 weeks, and yesterday I tried a new barber closeby. A lady barber who used to cut hair on the Groton Sub Base. I got a buzz cut getting ready for the summer, and while she was cleaning up the hairline with a straight (yes, she does straight shaves too!), she did a few quick passes on my earlobes before I could say anything. In fact, I was so still I did not want to open my mouth!
I may try her shaves one of these days - it is by appt only as she takes 20mins just for the pre-shave prep!
