Thread: Daily Shave?

I like to shave daily but sometimes I skip a day either due to time constraints or because there is not enough stubble to warrant shaving. I shaved so close yesterday that today will be a day I skip. I almost always do a 2 pass shave. Once in a while I will do 3 passes but never 1 pass. On days that I work I shave in the morning on off days later at night. Whatever the time of day my shave is always at a relaxed and leisurely pace.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 3I used to shave everyday. I'm in an awkward transition now. Typically I shave in the morning, and I get a very nice, smooth shave. The next morning, there's nothing to shave. However, by that afternoon, I've got stubbles! Would like to shave every 1.5 days... So I guess I'll just have to improve my shave some more until I can keep it a shave every other day without stubbles on the second afternoon? Or I suppose I could go back to settling with a not-as-good shave and shave everyday...
Oh, typically I do 3 passes.

Thanked: 155I voted every day, but only because that is the closest to actual practice. In reality, I usually shave every morning Monday-Friday, in the evening on Saturday and not at all on Sunday.

For me the ideal time between shaves is 36 hours, i let my skin rest well and there is enough stuble to guarantee a good shave, also at 36 hours i dont look dirty like i do in 48...\
I have notice that when i do have to shave a couple days in a row in the morning (24hr rest between shaves)
using same prep ,blade , amount of passes and shaving technique i wont get a s close of a shave and i have a lot of stubble next day in the morning...
be well

Thanked: 12I normally shave every day, in the morning WTG and XTG. About once or twice a week I do ATG, every time I shave ATG I dont need a shave until the next day after work. (about 36 hours)

Thanked: 271I shave every day, it helps me wake up. All told, I spend about 30 minutes in the bathroom, including a shower. I make 3½ passes, WTG, ATG, XTG and a third oblique pass on the neck because I'm seeking the perfect BBS. I wish I could shave twice a day but that would be too much.
