Thread: Holiday makers to my house ...beware

Ok my brother is visiting us for a week o0r so...so obviously i ask him if he fancies a shave...to my surprise he says ...aye, ok...now this is an oppurtunity to apologise to sixgun and commend him on his uberlather as I was a true sceptic...but I had the cohonies to tell him at the gathering ( he is a big lad) and he made some up for me. Now the picture on my deck in Landrum, SC.





Ok glen the lather is of your recipe, worked great.
The soap is Leatherneck from the Gentlemans quarter.
Scuttle is the one i won at the gathering
Razor is a Dovo Bismark, honed by Lynn at the gathering.

The lather was awesome, and the outcome was even better, my brother may leave with the works, shaving with a multi-blade system leaves him stinging, this didnt, what better an advert than that...for all the little parts involved in the shave.

So the point of this post...If your coming to visit with me for more than a day or so...hehe......i will ask!!!

Actually no, I used to do it while I was onboard the rig I used to work on before I moved to the USA, a few of the guys were ex-royal navy and kinda interested in it, they asked and i obliged them with a shave, and to this point ive had alot of success, maybe Ive converted my brother into the straight way of doing things.
