I just received two double arrow razors yesterday from stamps222 on ebay. I took one to the hones today, 10/10, 5/5, 3/3, 1/2, 1/3, 1/5 on the 4000/8000 and 12 on the 12000. I stropped 10 on the canvas and then 50 on the leather. The shave I got from this $9.00 razor with wonky scales was cleaner and smoother than any of my first six shaves with my new DOVO. The double arrow is a 7/8 and the DOVO is a 5/8, I don't know if that made a difference or not. Also, I have gotten my strop a lot flatter after some conditioning and I got the DOVO a little unevenly sharp when my strop was a bit cupped. Any way, I was quite pleased with the shave from the double arrow today and am getting more and more excited to shave every day with my straights!!
