Thread: I need help with XTG

Hi,

I need some help with technique for XTG using both left and right hand for the following areas:

1. Under lip to top of chin
2. Under jaw line and bottom of chin area

With a DE I do an XTG from middle of under chin to ear direction and then reverse and do an XTG from ear to middle of bottom of chin

Its hard to give advice because everyone has a different growth pattern however the way I do it in those areas. For under lip to top of chin I go straight down and around the chin and then across the chin from E-W and then from W-E. I do the mid chin to lip from S-N.

For Bottom of chin I go first N-S around the chin and straight down and then S-N from the adams apple up to the chin area. I also do a stroke from the ear to the chin right along the jawline.

This is it works best for me when shaving XTG below the lip.
My beard grows N-S, so I put the razor "up" with the heel in the corner of my mouth and do a W-E pass and the reverse pass.
This is the zone of my face where the heel of the razor makes all of the major work.
