Throw some more water on your face, and really stretch the skin taut. NO extra pressure please!

The aluim block will tell you if you applied too much pressure!

Of all the three techniques that are demonstrated in the video I use the first two in a moderate fashion. The sliding thing works great if you are extra careful... other wise you'll look like the GI Joe action figures... The J-hook is harder to do but is possible to adapt to the straight razor technique. But I cannot understand how is it possible to do the buffing with the straight? Is it like... small little chopping strokes done extra fast? Isn't that dangerous?! Can someone explain any further? Thanks!

I've been doing this for over a year without realising there was a name for it. As with others here, mainly for the chin.

I use rapid short strokes, never dry (I use lather but not too much cushion or you can't see where you're buffing!), ad needless to say 100% concentration on ensuring the strokes have zero lateral movement.
