    Yep! I do it, too.

I have found that some of my edges are better suited to do ATG than others, yet some struggle with the 1st pass, but perform well after the 1st pass. So, lately I have been using two (for now). Usually a heavy blade that seems best suited for the 1st pass, which goes really well, then one of my "comfortable shave" razors to do the clean up and ATG passes. Of course, there are the "Super" shavers that do both really well......

It's interesting the different personalities and characteristics of our different razors.

    * I have a few really nice framebacks, and besides being good shavers in general, they are, also, very good shavers to do the duty of 2nd shaver that does ATG & clean up. The nature of the blade + the rounded heel & toe, seem to lend itself to doing this secondary job very well.

    ** Interesting thread! Thanks!
