I gather that CVS is out, it seem like SRP members cornered the market.. ;-). My wife tells me that A.C Moore and other crafts stores carry it. people use it for decoration of cakes, etc...

Thanked: 11I checked out more Walgreens and CVS stores and in at least California it seems like they're taking them off the shelves. I was told that it might turn into prescription only. I'm not sure why but I'm going to guess that people are using it to make drugs or something.

Glycerin is so commonly used in many things, like cake decoration that it is hard to think that it would be completely banned. Although, I would not be surprised if it happens ;-). There is always to mail order option if you do not have access to in at a store.

Tried the glycerine this morning,,, put a couple of drops into my cream (Kaloderma cream) and WHOA! what a slick, thick lather.. very nice good glide, I'll be trying that again!
So I finished off my shave and then started wondering how it would lather Williams for me, as I have not much luck with that product, and found that I had an awesome display of lathering abilities!!
Thanks guys...

Use Mama Bears Glycerin Shave Soap. It lathers great and is Glycerin based. Also, when the center of the soap wears down you can remelt it in the microwave and level it out. They have some great scents too...I really like the Bay Rum scent. Handmade Shaving Soaps, Mama Bears Soaps
