    Default Its been said before,but....

I LOVE SHAVING WITH A STRAIGHTRAZOR!!!

I came home from a disaster day at work today, The previous night my one year old daughter desided to scream all night long, and I got like two hours of sleep. My mother is visiting us, and both her and my wife started nagging me when I got home.Anyways, I asked them to leave me alone for 30 min.went to the bathroom, took a shower, and started wipping some CF shaving cream.I stropped my razor for some time, and started shaving. All my stress and negativity dissapered along with the stubble. After three passes, and a nice lotion, out came a new man.And we had a lovely dinner

See, it did not save you time or money (not much, at least) and it had nothing to do with removing more or less hair, it made you feel great. I feel the same way when I shave ;-).

    Al raz.

I agree! It is such a good way to think of something else than all the small worries in life.

It is a good thing men can only think of one thing at once, when I am shaving, that is all I think about. The same thing goes for flying an airplane, all other things seems like details with my hands on the stick.

I am presently solo so I don't have anyone to nag at me or hassle me about buying another hone or razor. I don't know if that is good or bad. I still have my stresses as we all do and the shave is reserved as a quiet time where for twenty minutes or so I can reboot so to speak and I love it too.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
