Shave Related Plumbing Problem
I noticed water in the cabinet beneath the bathroom sink several weeks ago. Nothing appeared to be leaking so it was a mystery. I dried it up and kept checking over the next few days. No leaks, but suddenly after several more days, more water appeared.
Finally, one morning when I was preparing to shave I figured it out. When I wrapped a wash cloth around the faucet to use the "tube" method to soak it with hot water I heard dripping under the sink. Sure enough, the wash cloth seemed to form a back pressure at the outlet of the faucet and water was flowing into the internal housing of the faucet and dripping into the cabinet below. There was no visible evidense of this unless you looked in the cabinet while performing this manuver!
JUst thought I would mention this in case anyone else has this problem. Maybe my faucet is missing a seal or something.
