Wow, all that says to me is "Hi, I'm not skilled enough with even a safety razor to shave straight goatee lines - if you are as inept as I am, get the goatee shaver!"

I learned to shave proper goatee lines through trial and error, and have had a great looking goatee for years. Even after switching to a straight it didn't take that long to learn.

I guess it's just like all those other dumby-proof life products. It's sad to think that there are people out there who actually need this crap.

Yes, it's hilarious that goatee saver.

Whenever I feel inclined to save my goatee for a few days, I do as Sebell, first WTG away and then ATG towards the trim line, but with a slight variation: I lather up a slightly larger bit than I'm actually going to shave, softening the hairs that need trimming, and just prior to the trim wipe away the lather flipping the razor and "shaving" with the spine. That way I can see what I do, yet it leaves enough lather for lubrication. And I don't need to rinse and dry a finger. I do the same when trimming the side-burns.
