    Default Mission Accomplished !

    Today was my first shaving experience! NO major cuts, just a small nick on my left inner upper thigh.. From here on good bye disposable razor Hello Straight Razor!

    Liltha or Silver what do you recommend for goose bumps after shaving?
    My hubby said that I have to shave 3 ways: going against, going with and across. Do you gals do this?

    Shaving cream: TrueFitt & Hill
    Scent: Trafalgar

    Brush: Shavemac 944

    Razor: Ontario Cutlery Co.
    Geneva, N.Y. USA
    2.5” long (cutting edge)
    Scales are 100% Real Paua Shell/ Acrylic Backing

    Duration: 15mins each leg

    PS I bet you can go directly ATG. I do on some parts of my face so you should be able to make out fine against the leg hairs. I don't know if that would amplify your goosebumps though.

    I only do one pass, and it's against the grain. I don't use anything to combat the goosebumps, since they go away on their own, and I've found that I get them less and less as my body gets used to the straight razor.

    Congrats on your first shave! Keep it up!

    Beautiful razor and congrats. Just wondering, how much lather is needed to shave legs? And how long does it take to make it? It seems to take forever sometimes just getting enough to lather my face for two passes.

    My last shaving took a total of 15 minutes (with 2 passes).
    Definitely, requires a lot of lather.
