    Default Mission Accomplished !

    Today was my first shaving experience! NO major cuts, just a small nick on my left inner upper thigh.. From here on good bye disposable razor Hello Straight Razor!

    Liltha or Silver what do you recommend for goose bumps after shaving?
    My hubby said that I have to shave 3 ways: going against, going with and across. Do you gals do this?

    Shaving cream: TrueFitt & Hill
    Scent: Trafalgar

    Brush: Shavemac 944

    Razor: Ontario Cutlery Co.
    Geneva, N.Y. USA
    2.5” long (cutting edge)
    Scales are 100% Real Paua Shell/ Acrylic Backing
    Spacers and Pins are Nickel Silver
    Wedge, Transparent Acrylic

    Duration: 15mins each leg

    PS I bet you can go directly ATG. I do on some parts of my face so you should be able to make out fine against the leg hairs. I don't know if that would amplify your goosebumps though.

    I only do one pass, and it's against the grain. I don't use anything to combat the goosebumps, since they go away on their own, and I've found that I get them less and less as my body gets used to the straight razor.

    I did noticed later in the evening the goosebumps went away. Hopefully, it will be less each time.

    Woohooo!!! Well done you.

    I only do one pass ATG, sometimes I still need to do an XTG on the knees but I think thats just me, hehehe. Never had a problem with goosebumps on the old pins, but I did get them elsewhere when first using a straight. It seems your skin does get used to it after a couple of times.

    That is what I thought, only ATG. I found it difficult to shave with the grain and was afraid to cut myself.
