Default My New (Old) Barber Chair

About a year ago, I decided to give traditional straight razor shaves with the idea of possibly opening a fully-traditional old-style barbershop. This led to research into autoclaves and steel-scaled straight razors. I started giving shaves in January and, after I did three, I discovered that a barber's chair is an essential component. The chair I was using was too low (hurt my back) and too springy (I cut my wife's son and he said it was because the chair moved). So, I went out looking for a barber's chair. A new model (ugly) could be had for €2,000 and an old-style chair (1890s) that I really liked was €4,000 and I couldn't afford it. Then, I started looking at eBay and found a 1960s-style chair about a 2-hour drive away. So, yesterday, my wife and I drove up to Scanzorosciate, near Bergamo, to pick up this barber chair that I won on eBay for ONE EURO!!

Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with my dentist, who started it all when he told me that he would like me to give him a shave when he got married. At the time, I told him that it wasn't that simple but he got me thinking about it and I decided to learn how to do it. So, he will be the next victim.
