Thanked: 1Shaving with a hangover is not good...
Yesterday was poker night with the boys, and as can be expected lots to drink thick cigars and a late night. Today I woke up early as we are having a Bar-B-Q and had to help the wife arrange it all. Many of the friends that are coming today have heard of my new hobby and think I am mental (nothing new by the way...). So I wanted to boast by showing them my baby face.
My hands were trembling (I wonder why?). I should have taken the warning when I put 2 nicks on my TM strop. From there it was all down hill and thinking back I dont know why I even attempted it. I did the first pass and had two nice cuts. I finished the rest with my Mach 3 and even though I did XTG and ATG the shave was not as close as I am used to by now. Well at least I´ll have a good story to tell at lunch!

Thanked: 235Maybe you should have shaved before you went to bed when you were still drunk.

Happened to me too, I just started a WTG pass, scared myself, then took the DE to finish the job.

I've been there before, more than once actually. I've found that a couple bloody mary's and an omelet really balance things out again. If you have time to squeeze in a nap after it all, your in for a real treat

On the (now) relatively rare occasions that I have a really bad hangover, I don't shave. Minor ones just don't figure. What I have noticed is, shave before the coffee or a couple of hours after. Seriously, stone cold sober the night before, a pot of coffee=shaky (for me).
