    Default My 50th Shave

Well I just hit my 50th shave tonight ... lol
Anyway Colleens soaps are really doing it for me and the razor that Max made for me is unbelievable. My shaves are just getting better and better and almost BBS with just WTG and ATG passes. Colleens soaps are so slick it just makes shaving really easy for me. My skin never looked so good. I use a generous amount of Ogallalla Bay rum on my face and neck and I look and smell great. Im so glad I found this forum and am gratefull to the people who started it and the members who keep it going. I love it here.

I've also really hit my stride since getting soap from Colleen and a blade from Max.
    Funny how that works.

Congratulations, I'm somewhere between 500 and 1000 shaves in now but I've yet to have the perfect shave (although some come close) - it's a lifelong quest I reckon. At least it's a fun quest.

Congrats on hitting 50 shaves. I only have 3 under my belt, but hearing from you encourages me to keep trying. Thanks

Congratulations on the big 50. I lost count a long time ago but I know that the more you do the better you get. Keep it up..

Mike, congrats! The way you enjoy your shaving is a great thing and we all share that here. I have never been part of a group or forum that is as excited and tight knit as we are about s r shaving.

Jake that is funny how that works, I doubt I will try anything else.

    Ben that is hiliarious

Stot how long did it take you to get to the number of shaves your at?

Laser, Im a guy who never liked to shave, seriously I would go a week or longer. Now Im shaving 2 and 3 times a week, and I talk to strangers about what they are shaving with.
Your shaves are going to get better and better . My face has adapted to using a straight and my shaves are unbelievable now and my skin never looked so good.

Yo Rich Z , your right about them getting better and better. I wish I would have gotten into this 20 years ago.

Cessna, Im with ya , I have also never been a part of a close knit group like this who so passionate about something. I just cant believe how Straight shaving and this group has taken priority over all my other hobbies and interests, It's crazy !

oh Hey Ben, Just for the record tonight I hit 52 and I fricken sliced my cheek again , lol , It cause of Colleens slippery soap.... lol

Ben you have me laughing here and got me thinking of what I have been doing. I posted everytime I shaved up to my 15th , now again at 50, so Im thinking I will update again at 100, then I might go every hundred after that. Guess this is just going to be my thing that I do lol. Maybe I will throw a party at 1000.

Well I haven't used anything else since May 2006 and it must have been 3 or 4 months before then that I started to give it a go. I still keep a cartridge razor in the bathroom cupboard just in case I break an arm or something though.
