Thanked: 398weird bald spots...
Hey,
I've been noticing for about 2 weeks that i have three small bald spots in my beard. One right underneath my chin about the size of a nicket and two other small ones on the right side of my face. I'm pretty sure those didn't use to be there. Have you guys ever experienced something similar?

Thanked: 234I have one on my neck, just below my chin, that I'd never noticed before. I guess now we're paying that much more attention to our shaves, and the results, you develop a better knowledge of what's going on with your whiskers.
I'd never even considered direction of growth until I started SR shaving. It doesn't really make much odds when you're hacking your face to bits with the latest miracle offering from Gillette.

Thanked: 398The weird thing is that I'm about 99% sure that they didn't use to be there.

Thanked: 234Yes, I would say the same about mine. Maybe those whiskers just couldn't take the heat of the straight razor.

Thanked: 398At least now I have another excuse to shave every day. It looks pretty weird if I let my beard grow for a few days lol.

Thanked: 398Thanks! I was just looking on that website. I think that might be it. Hopefully it won't spread out too much lol. Oh well I just have to keep it clean shaven all the time I guess.

This is exactly what it is if the bald spots weren't there before. I developed this problem abot 5 years ago and went to the doctor. I also had three spots that got BIGGER as time pasted. It started to look pretty stupid so i made an appointment. I was told to have alopecia. I received shots (I don't know of what medicine) on the affected areas. I think i had to go back for 3 sets of shots , and a couple of months later, my hair grew back. Hope this helps you.

Thanked: 398Were yours in your beard or somewhere else on your body?
I don't mind the way they are now but if it gets bigger than that might become an issue.
Did the doctor mention any potential causes for this?
