    Default Echo first shave

I just finished cleaning & honing my odd Barlow Echo & it gave my quite a good shave .This will probably get better when I use the razor more It has quite an unusual feel to it But the results are good.
Mitchels wool Fat soap ,followed by Trumpers Sandalwood skin food .

That's a nice little blade! Reminds me of the DePews.

Could it be possible that all Barlow's were inscribed with 'ECHO'?

My 6/8ths smiling Barlow also has echo on the tang.

It could have been a corporate mark, like EBRO was the mark for J Wostenholm.

I like the look of that razor. It reminds me of my MAB.

What is the blade length on that? Looks like a couple of inches?

It's small adout 2inches. the raZor above it is my 5/8krop.
it honed up nicely on my blue Belgian followed by a quick trip to the cotocule. It's very nice steel. Paul
