I am 25, Been straight shaving for a little over a month and I can’t get enough of it! Good Luck with the duck tape. Just remember to rip it off like a Band-Aid.

Thanked: 172Looks like I got the highest number so far 58. Started with straight in barber scool in 1970, but got away from it when we stopped using regular str8's and went to disposible single edge in the str8. Quit barbering in 86. Started back in str8s about a year ago.

Sadly, at 54 time has taken it's toll on my mug as well. I agree, shaving was definitely a lot easier before my face started to resemble a Bloodhound's. What we in the UK call the 'lived in' look.

I'm on the down hill side of 61 and have no problems shaving my ugly puss with a straight. The only thing I fear is that at some point I may get the shakes too bad to continue safely.
My only regret is that I didn't try harder 30 years ago when I first attempted to use a straight razor.
