Thanked: 234Who knew shaving was so much fun?
This time yesterday, I did not have a single shave ready razor in my possession, now I have 5!
Getting the coticule/BBW and getting my razors back from Maarten today really reminded me how much fun it could be to shave.
I managed to fit 4 razors into my shave today, and was really pleased with how some of them performed. I had faith in Maarten so there was no surprises with the MAB, but I was pleased that the wilkinson and the Unknow BR that caused me a little trouble yesterday did just as well.
For any new guys out there, keep at it, I've been at this for about 2 months now and it's so much fun once you've got through the initial trials.

Thanked: 234I can be pretty balanced about what I want and what I'm willing to pay, I'd like to have a couple more but I'm very happy with the ones I have now, no rush to buy more - if I see one I fancy I'll buy it.

good to see other people as happy as i am. in just three weeks i've gone from just one razor to a small collection of 6 and a few hones. i want to pick up two more razors and then focus on a really nice scuttle and brush

Thanked: 234I want to get it up to 7 and hold it there for a while. Either just keeping the ones I have or a new one displacing one I already have.
I'm actually really happy with the brush I have, the biggest single out lay I've had so far was the coticule - and I'd like to keep it like that!

It looks like I may have got myself into another expensive hobby.

Thanked: 234It has it's moments, but it is really very accessible. It's more of a 'little and often' than requiring huge initial out lays of cash just to get on the first rung of the ladder, you can pick up some very very nice vintage blades for what you would pay for a round of coffees at starbucks.

The problem is me not my hobbies I haven't even used a straight yet and last week I was bidding on 6 Dovo's at the same time on Ebay, I tend to get carried away.
