Thread: Summer Reminder: Alum & Stretching

Stretching is fundamental for a close shave and requires a good grip with the finger tips. During most of the year, the razor removes the lather and my skin stays dry but it's 90° in Modena and my face is sweating, making it impossible to get a good grip to stretch. The solution is to wet your finger tips and rub them on an alum block. This gives your finger tips enough traction to stretch, even if your face is wet and soapy.
