Gentlemen,

I have a Georgetown scuttle, which I fill with hot tap water until my tea kettle boils. On the way to the shower, I fill the scuttle with boiling water from the kettle. During the shave, more boiling water from the tea kettle goes into the scuttle water tank.

So all right, the tea kettle routine transports me back to the 19th century, where I feel I belong, anyway.

I make lather directly onto my Hollywood face and use the scuttle to keep the brush warm. Occasionally, though, I make lather in the scuttle. Why? Because my imaginary personal barber requires it.

Regards,
Obie
