Default I have converted two people

My barberist became interested in Str8 shaving after I began talking to her about it.

She started asking me questions about her boyfriends "acne" which is actually ingrown hair.

I directed her to try CO Bigelow and to get a VanDerHagen brush. A cheap foray into the world.

She reported to me yesterday that the shaving went very well and that his skin is improving dramatically. He actually wants to talk to me about better shaving techniques!! I brought a 4/8 and a Schick injector with me when I went. She tried the 4/8 but was too nervous as she is used to an SE type str8, but she tried it. She was interested in the Schick as an alternative for the Fusion that her BF has now.

I was also told that another barberist there is also interested in learning the ways of the razor.

Ya know I emailed the trainers a copy of the barbers manual about straight shaving and was sorta given a kiss off. So maybe with a few barberists there supporting me. I can actually show these people how to shave properly.

Bringin' back the barbershop one barberist at a time.

Nice job. I myself have started converting my friends. While in Vegas this last week I dragged my friend to Truefitt and Hill and pretty much forced him to get a shave. He didn't think a shave was worth $65. After both of us had our shaves, 2 and a half hours later, the barber and I convinced him to try some real shaving cream instead of his canned crap, and I got him to buy a badger brush and some aftershave too. I haven't sold him on the straight yet, but after the barber told him to listen to me I think he's wearing down.

I think we need some sort of a badge to be proudly worn by those of us who have converted (brainwashed) others into using a straight.
By the way, great work. Two in one go.

I've got a friend I live with who's interested in getting a straight, I'm considering teaching him to use one when my 4 arrive and I learn how to use them properly. Maybe he'll finally lose his mountain man beard, although I don't hold much hope of that. If he'll just trim it a bit better I think it'll be a win-win situation - he'll look better, and I won't appear to be living with a hobo.
