Default Well ladies I did it

I got SWMBO to sit for her first str8 shave last night.

TGQ Margarita and Thayers Lavender to finish it off.

I used my best Torrey. She was impressed and liked the feel of her legs. I do not think that she will be picking up a str8 soon but I think I maybe doing leg shaves at home more often now. I only had one tiny fissure of a nick and I am still trying to figure out how it got there.

I went with and against the grain and her only complaint was that her skin felt a little tight. I told her that I believed that to be the Thayers.

    Thanks SRP.

singlewedge, congrats! I am glad she enjoyed it. What type of prep did you do? I find that if I don't prep properly my skin feels really tight.

I kinda failed on that part cause it was real long day and the kids had just gone to bed. So I did not have a lot of time to prepare. I did a lot of lathering and over lathering to let it set for a while to soften but I should have used a hot towel.

This is how it starts! I shaved my wife's legs a couple times and now she has her own blade, brush, and soap.

I use Nivea Sensitive for my face and with it being so cheap my wife will occasionally put a thin coat on her legs after shaving. I can tell you this much... When she does that her legs are like butter... I can't keep my hands off them.

Hot towels would have been a good idea, Or try it when she gets out of the shower/bath

Sounds like you have the right idea. Much better than trying to fit it in after a long day. Plan a special night
