I couldn't resist a Genco Vanadium listed on E-Bay. It has all the original scales, pins etc and looks brand new. Anyone know about this razor? I'll post a picture next week.

Yes, I have one and it's a beauty. Holds and edge as good if not better then any razor I have. Wonderful workmanship and balance.

I now have 4 Genco's and love them. Takes a great edge and stays sharp. Got a 4/8, 2 5/8's and a 6/8. For the price, you can't beat them.

Gencos/Geneva are great razors. As they are dull, it takes a bit of work to get them shaving. Hard steel, IMO. They take me back to the hones quite often. Fans of them may consider looking at Ontario/Alwin as well. Same stuff. Wider, the better, for me.
Lots of 6/8's out there yet. Hold an edge wonderfully!
