First full shave with the Joseph Elliott...
I never seen so much blod in my face! EVER!!!
i got some pretty bad cuts...
but i'll live...
they were mostly on the area i usually dont shave (had the full goatee for a while)
so i think the result was good enough...
before
right after...controlling the bleeding
when all was said and done...
i would say the face is like 80% BBS
but i dont think i will attempt this again anytime soon (full shave)

Thanked: 234Keep at it, that's the most difficult area of the face to shave - but now you've done it once it will get easier and easier.
Just 1 pass WTG will teach you you're contours.

Ouch! I see that. Well if you didn't notice that it was nick right away and thought it was just a scratch it couldn't have been too bad. The goatee area is the hardest area to shave IMO. Did you trim your goatee before you shaved or just shaved it all off with the straight? I was just wondering, because not trimming it first (you wouldn't need to honestly, but it helps) could lead to cuts and such since it would be more difficult to shave off.

Outstanding job! Did you have to strop again during the shave, with so much hair to remove? I do that sometimes and get a closer shave as a result. The area under your upper lip is a dangerous area, for sure! I have cut the edge of my lower lip more than once. Now, I pull the lip over my bottom teeth to protect it and push out the whiskers, and use two passes, the first WTG and the second, very carefully, ATG.
