    Talking Face-sturbating newbie

I just shaved with my Theirs-Issard that I brought back from bread knifing the other day, and I am happy to say that I got my best shave to date with it tonight! (7 years already-wow)

Both cheeks and the front of my chin are BBS, and as I sat prowling the SRP before signing out for the night, I found myself face-sturbating several times. I haven't felt this smooth since I was 13. Lucky for me the wife and kids are already in bed!

Congratulations! Its a pretty awesome feeling to bring your razor to shave-ready from scratch on your own!

I always liked this razor, and it is the one I will be sending to straightrazor dave for our exchange - the thread is in the honing area. Too bad I killed it over the years. I wonder what it would feel like if I hadn't Frankensteined it

Anyway, I'm having mixed feelings about the BBS. It feels really weird. Maybe because it's the first time. I'm looking forward to my next shave with the Bismark.

    Default BBS has that effect

Nothing like the feeling of a really good BBS shave!

    Now you know its power!

Yes, it has a certain power that keeps me wondering if I will be able to achieve BBS again - kind of like a performance fear. I also learned that I think it is better to have a smiling blade. I noticed that if I had had a straight corner on the blade, I would've sliced myself several times with it!
