Thread: great shave

just wanted to share the great shave I had tonight I took a shower and lathered up while I was soaking in lather I went to strop my razor well when I got in there where the strop is I saw my pasted strop that I had made (thanks chrisl for the chromiume Ox and for a great price) then ran it over the leather and tested it on my arm it just popped the hair off so I went in and started the first pass and again the hair just melted away so let's skip to the end when I got done my wife does the same thing she always does when I finish shaving run her hand over my face and then she said " I think I am going to like this shaveing thing you do"

Thanks for sharing, having a great shave is definitely something to be happy about! Now that you know your wife is approving of you using straights you can try and convince her that the more razors and accessories you have the smoother your face will get.

I do the same, ask the Mrs to confirm BBS. Its a nice way to let her share in the success of a great BBS shave. Now that her friends are starting to notice, she is giving me more support.

I confess that I love to feel my face several times per day to appreciate the smoothness achieved and the BBS is addictive!
