    I tried the Proraso Pre/Post shave cream and I found it didn't work too well. Their shaving cream is great, highly recommended. I just ordered a bottle of The Art of Shaving Pre-Shave Oil. I hope that works better.

    Actually the makers of the main brushes like Simpson and Rooney say to not use preshave oil. I don't know if thats just to cover themselves or what.
