You could do it, it's fine. I don't shave my nether regions whatsoever but have shaved all the other parts of my body with a straight razor just fine. It can shave hairy armpits in a single sweep w/o clogging. Very nice.

When I first started looking at s8razor shaving I wondered what did women do about shaving their legs and under arms before the invention of the safety razor. I guess I kinda have a close idea now.

I only shave my face, so no comment :P Be CAREFUL!!!

I don't shave below the collarbone, but if I did, I'm sure I'd use my straight to do it. I am *far* more confident with a straight than I am with a DE, disposable, etc., and I've never nicked myself less. For a job requiring special precision, I can't imagine using anything else - thought that was the whole point of using straight razors in the first place.

The sting on my face is bad enough...I can only imagine what it would feel like on the bits.

I want to bet that if you used some MENTHOL shaving cream it would be VERY refreshing in the neither region...

I think its GREAT!!

I have done several rooster shaves with a straight. No problems at all.

Word to the wise... don't use a spike point. I did the first time and nicked my taint. Not fun. Now I use a round point.
