Thanked: 21In Taiwan here, it seems most men simply use a cheap disposable. The hair on their faces *tends* to be pretty thin, and they don't need to shave all that often. It's not the daily task that it is in the states.

Percentages would be pure guesswork. They couldn't even be calculated with sales & market share, as many DE & straight users buy vintage.
My best & completely useless guess is :
Multi blade/disposable etc 49.75 %
Electric 47 %
D.E. 3 %
Straight razor 0.25 %
Feel free to quote these as though they are fact!
(I hope to hell that adds up to 100%!)

Ben - You forgot SE and wedge razors in there.
I use both. Or rather used. I can use the wedges but not the SE's anymore.

Most Popular Way to Shave
Gentlemen,
Europe is dominated by the electric shaver, although I would hazard a guess that the double edge still rules in Eastern Europe.
I think the Middle East still goes with the double edge.
In America, unfortunately, the cartridge razor is king.
There is nothing scientific about my conclusion. One thing I will definitely state, though: the world's gentlemen shavers prefer the straight razor.
Regards,
Obie

In the population of my frat I'd say its: 50% Schick Quattro (we got them free lol), 10% Gillette Fusion, 25% Gillette Mach 3, 10% Electric (all but one use foil, only one guy uses the tri-head), a couple guys use the 2-bladers and I use straights lol.
