Thanked: 4942Shave a Balloon??
Any one ever shave a balloon like they always say the barbers do when in training to learn how to shave someone??? Been wondering about this one for a while. I never have. Lynn

Thanked: 0Shaving a balloon is for the wimps! As soon as I had this great blade
in my hand I shaved my face and my head. I lost a lot of blood but I
also learned a lot more than I would have if I had punctured a balloon.
My apology for the ones who shaved a balloon, I don't really think you
are wimps but my intro had more impact that way.

I think it's a lark designed to pop the ballon and spray the unbeknownst noobie with shaving foam. Did they have balloons to practice on 200 years ago? Never tried it therefore.

Yeah, I spoke to a barber and he suggested the balloon thing. I just went straight for my face! Sure, I shed a little blood, but it was probably less of an aggravation than cleaning shaving cream off of the ceiling and walls would have been.
