The wire is put very closely to the skin and twisted,
so remaining stubbles get caught and thorn out of the skin.
You can see, it´s quite painfull but adds to the smootheness, I guess

Thanked: 20There are women's salons here in Atlanta that does this using thread to pluck eyebrows. It is a middle eastern thing instead of tweezers to pluck them out. I saw a piece on one of the local news shows about this and several other techniques for eyebrow shaping. Of all the methods compared the thread technique produced the best, longest lasting results. Kind of a pre-Epilady thing.
