    Talking First shave with new Dovo

    Just got my new Dovo and strop from vintage blades honed by Lynn.
    I disregarded the advice to go slow and did a three pass shave and got BBS most places have to work on my chin technique but it was great otherwise. I will be a str8 man from here on out love it.
    Glad I found this website thanks for all the great advice and video's Jockeys shaving video with closeups was really helpful.

    Welcome to the group and the world of straight edge shaving. If your face happens to get a bit sore today, you might consider some vaseline until your skin adjusts.

    I have found that Corn Husker's Lotion is good and it does not feel oily.
