Hi there, I'm as new as they come, I don't even own a razor, haha. However, I've been interested in using a straight razor since I was 18 (I'm now 20) and I think I'm finally ready to take the plunge. My main problem is, I need everything to get started, a razor, strop, mug/soap, everything, however, I'm a college student and don't exactly have a lot of cash. So, would anybody mind telling me where I can get a good deal on a decent razor, strop and everything? Also, I haven't a clue when it comes to honing, and from what I've read nothing is really ready to use out of the box. So I wonder if anyone could hone one for me or sell me one that they've honed? I figure I may mutilate my face the first few times, but hey, nothing ventured nothing gained. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me.
