Tipping My Hat to My Shave Guru
Gentlemen,
I just got off the telephone with Lynn Abrams, my shave guru, after a 45-minute interview for the short newspaper article I am writing on the world of straight razor shaving.
I am astonished at this man's depth of knowledge on the straight razor shaving world. Ask and ye shall find out from Lynn.
What especially impresses me about Lynn is his kind heart and the genuine interest in helping everyone, especially straight razor pilgrims such as I, to continue exploring this fascinating world.
So thank you, Lynn, for you are royalty in the pantheon of straight razor shavers. I tip my hat to you, sir.
Regards,
Obie

Obie, that has been my experience too.Lynn has given me pointers on honing when I have gotten stuck that I wouldn't have figured out if I lived to be 200. If it wasn't for Lynn Abrams I would still be a DE shaver. That is why I added that other sig line at the bottom of my posts.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

And you can ask Lynn anything about Vodka and Cigars too. His knowledge about everything just expands past the horizon.
There can and will only be one Lynn.

If it wasn't for Lynn honing my second straight razor, I would have had two razors in a drawer somewhere and still be DE shaving.

PS, Thanks Lynn for turning your vision into a reality. It sounds pretty stupid for outsiders I suppose, but the level of satifaction on mastering a skill that can be used in daily practice is wonderful... I am often concerned about how much we sacrifice for the sake of "convienence"...
