Red face Just had my 2nd Shave

I recently bought a straight razor and I dont think it was shave ready. It was a starter kit from Excalibur Cutlery.

It has a lot of trouble cutting my courser areas such as my mustache and chin. I've had to switch back to my Mach3 the pain was so great and after the pain of the straight razor the Mach3 was amazingly comfortable, like a hot knife through butter!

The reason I'm posting this thread is I would like to send my razor to someone to have it properlly sharpened and even shave tested. Is there anyone on this forum that does it? Maybe not a professional but someone trustworthy that can get a nice comfortable shave from their razor.

The razor has a solingen blade with cheapy plastic handles. The hone edge is rough and will definetly need a touch up. I messed it up trying to give it a sharpen after it hurt so much.
