    For me I go WTG/XTG

I've tried ATG even before I got into straights, but my skin doesn't handle it well, and the 2 passes gives me a very smooth shave, so I avoid ATG.

Because of how my beard grows I've been only doing ATG on my chin and neck, which then became ATG everywhere, usually two passes (one for the bulk, one for touchups). I can get a really smooth shave like this without any irritation, but remembered during my shave today that someone was talking in a fairly recent thread about "stubble reduction". This got me thinking - should I be doing the whole WTG/XTG/ATG rigmarole, or is my current technique permissible? And yes, I do realise it's harder on the razor's edge than the traditional way.
As long as it works for you, who cares what others say, and I doubt that it is any harder on the edge than any other approach. Personally, I don't even think about WTG/XTG/ATG, I just shave the way it comes to me naturally. I only use one pass, though I do go over most areas more than once, and this works very well for me.

Yes, it is both bad AND wrong!!!

Straighten up and fly right, or we will be forced to come over there and shave off your eyebrows
