Robbie Williams using a straight razor
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but here goes.
In the video clip of "Boddies" from Robbie Williams, this man uses a brush to put some (lousy) lather on the face and then uses an unknown straight razor, a tiny one, to shave in a 90 degree angle.

Couldn't someone give lessons on how to at least make it look real?

Since so few use a straight does it really matter? If he was flying an airplane and doing everything wrong who would know besides pilots? There are more of them than us.

Oh well...if it prompts a bunch of bandwagoners to give straight razors a go after seeing their idol use one, it cant be all bad necessarily.
Maybe thats how Robbie uses straights...??

IMHO and being English I have to say Robbie williams is a TW@T
end of!
I saw the video a week or so ago and was not surprised, he may be a dick, but he has a good stylist, a trained monkey was how one expert described him, and I wonder agree, except I quite like monkeys
And Bruno, I am not at all surprised if you of all people find the video slightly offensive, you are a gentleman in the true sense of the word Sir

Man if that razor was even remotely sharp , with all that pressure on the cheek...he would have needed a cheek transplant

I Think Less Of People Who Embrace Pop Music. I think even Less of homogenized wimps like this Fanook. With a 90 degree scrape pass like that he's earned the term "Poser" from me.

That "shaving" routine is pretty lame. It starts at about 30 seconds in, for those that want to just view the "shaving" part.

IIRC, there's actually a shot in there somewhere where his angle is greater than 90 degrees. Effectively, he's trying to shave while dragging the edge away from the area to be shaved. Let me know how that works out for you, Rob.
