You haven't truly experienced a straight razor shave without giving yourself a battle wound to share with other's. I wear my scar with pride. I had atleast a hundred shave's with a straight when my razor bit me. As I was stretching the skin of my cheek my hand slipped and the skin retracted in the middle of a stroke with the razor. My eyebrows shot up to my hairline when I saw the damage. Good times! Great thread!

That is true. I nailed myself a few times when I lost concentration..But I wear my scars with pride. They also make for great stories..

Yup. Right cheek near my ear (thought that sucker would never stop leaking blood), right cheek bone (see a pattern?), right jaw line ( the edge made impact and sliced !), and both sides of my chin. I'm very right handed. My left is always a little outta sync with the rest of me.
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.
