Thanked: 1936You manned up, but hate to see it happen. We've all gotten some odd nick or will. Mine was with a shortened SR with a handle (no scales) on the left cheek bone. I was making a downward WTG stroke and elbow touched the wall & I tried to filet my cheekbone w/ the toe of the blade. Actually it was only about a half inch, but a nice deep flap of skin. When I started on the other cheek is when the flap opened. Had to use the styptic right then, gusher. Personally, mine was an attention lapse. I just wore it with pride & shaved around it for about a week.
Great post, thanks!!Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

It happens. I find the riskiest times are when I have a bunch of different sized razors for shave test.
Changing from an 8/8 immediately to say a 4/8 challenges the old proprioceptors. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
