    Thumbs up Best Shave Ever

I just had the best shave ever with a str8. I guess I am getting the feel of it again.
Up until a couple of months ago I had not used a str8 in over 30 years.

Default Watch out for tomorrow's shave!

Or at least knock on wood!

I posted a diddy about reaching shaving nirvana and was greeted the following morning with chin tartar.... I'm now a little more careful not to upset the shaving Gods. LOL

Glad to hear you're getting back in the saddle!!

I know what you mean about the shaving Gods. One day last week I cut and nicked myself several times.

And then you get distracted by thinking about something other than shaving while making an upward pass and then ouch!!

Default I think we've all been there...

I think if you polled everyone on the membership rolls you'll find there are pieces of facial parts in bathroom sinks from NJ to CA. Not to come off as morbid, of course. I think anyone who has ever picked up and shaved with a straight can tell a horror story or two about a bloodletting experience. I know in my brief straight razor shaving journey I've had my fair share and even a couple for a newbie who hasn't yet started out....LOL!!!

If you don't stay focused it can get nasty.

    Hmm, "rusty"... "razor"...
Not two things you really want to think of together...
