    Default Five O'Clock Shadow

    Gentlemen,

    It's 10:40 p.m. Saturday. I shaved at 7 a.m. today. I have a heavy beard.

There is still no sign of a five o'clock shadow.

It's the straight razor, I'd say.

    Regards,
    Obie

And I would agree...but could it maybe be the skill of the straight razor wielder?

I go 24 hours between shaves and even though I can feel the beard it is hardly a 5 o'clock shadow(by appearance) . It must be the straights , because with DE I get this same result much sooner.

I agree...I can get by shaving every 48 hours with a straight but I do it once a day for the fun
