Thread: bumpy upper lip

Good afternoon!

I've found that more often than not, I'm getting a very bumpy upper lip area after shaving - almost a "piquet" like texture as each of the folicles above my upper lip are swollen. This seems to occur whether or not I choose to do two or three passes (I always do three, but I gave two a shot and the same thing happened). On that area I do a downward WTG, a middle out and then an out to middle. I don't think creams, etc...will remedy the problem and only thing I can think of is either I'm stretching way too much, or not enough (although I've become a good stretcher). It's not the biggest deal and I've been fine with it for a while, but I'd like to improve on this, if I can. Any ideas that might help?
