    Default Water

I usually let the coldest water I can find run over my face for one minute at least four times a day: after shaving, before going to bed and every once in a while within the day. Tap dry and go.
Love the feeling of cold water on my face. Makes it heal faster.
    Try.

I normally let cold water run over my face after a shave to close the pores, but that's about it.

I don't do it during the day or prior to to bed unless I was having some skin issues, I never considered it for healing? I thought the Witch Hazel and ASB was for that.

Personally I grab an ice cube in the freezer and run it over my face after I finish shaving.

Wow, this sounds like a good idea when the water does not wanna come out cold after a nice warm shave... pretty nice for saving water!

I think I'll keep a block of dry ice on hand for this same reason.

Nice idea. I thought of a big bowl in which let the ice melt in water during shaving and dive my face inside with a snorkel tube for three minutes. The problem is that it is a bit messy. Next freezer will have an ice dispenser with that idea on mind.

    Doesn't it burn your skin?

I find plunging your face in cold water after a shave is very invigorating for the skin.
