DD WONDEREDGE VS WUSTOFF GLADIATOR
I did sharpen 3 razor's and shave test.
1 dd wonderedge
2 wustoff gladiator gold
3. Torrey
I knew about DD Wonderedge is great shaver and wanted test next 2 and see what happen
sharpening process lasted almost 20 minutes each and they all were shave ready.
Torrey did pass my sharpness test but dd and wustoff didn't.
I had limited time and thought i will take to shave and see what happen.
1 st tested Torrey. As i said it did pass my sharpness test and shave was without any problem. i shaved wtg,xtg and AGT overall pass ( in 10 scale system i should say torrey got 7.)
Next i tried wonderedge.
wtg ,xtg and agt didn't seems like i am cutting any hairs very smooth and nice shave i said this is why name is WONDEREDGE.
WONDEREDGE GOT 10 OUT 10.
Lastly i tried WUSTOFF after wonderedge i said there is no way this will shave close to wonderedge.
i did same routine wtg,xtg and AGT . I couldn't believe how smooth and effortless shave went . This really was amazing shave.
wustoff gladiator gold GOT 10 OUT 10.
hope this helps.

Thanks for the review Sham. Seems from results of the sharpness tests that once again the shave is the ultimate test.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 96Wustoff makes beautiful knives. I haven't come across a Wusty razor yet, but if I did see one for a decent price I'd probably snap it up. They seem quite rare and I can't imagine it anything less than an excellent shaver.
I am less than impressed with my Torrey also. It's fine, but it's at the bottom of my stack of razors (They're all solingen/good razor list though, so there aren't any really "Bad" ones).

Thanked: 402Those Gladiators are extremely pretty!
I love Wüsthofs. Haven't seen one that wasn't classy and I hate to sell them.
