    Default Beclothed or not?

In the old days when I used a Bic disposable I shaved in the shower with great speed and found suds and whiskers flying all about the place. Since switching to a straight, however, I now stand at the sink. During summer I get half dressed, as in pants and so on, and shave without a shirt because I guess I still associate shaving with being a little messy. But today, as it's getting chilly here, I found myself wearing a shirt before I started to shave. Lo and behold, not a drop of cream or the like was spilled which made me wonder - I wonder what other people wear when they shave.

So tomorrow, as I normally wear three piece suits in Winter, I might just try wearing a waistcoat, with sleeves rolled up - just for that extra bit of eccentricity.

    So how about you, gentlemen?

I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

I go with a towel since I shave right out of the shower. It is freezing in my apartment, particularly after stepping out of a hot shower, but I get so distracted shaving I don't really notice it.

shaving at the sink without anything on is not wise practice. If one should accidentally drop the razor - you know where that razor may be headed - or should I say beheaded?!

I usual wear a towel around the waist, on rare occasion I might wear underwear. As far as shirts go, I don't have control over my heat in my current apartment so it can get particularly cold some days, but I tuff it out without a T-shirt.

I never wear My glasses either. tried to shave with them on once or twice and didn't seem to work out or me so well. Maybe I'll try it again today.

    Edit:
By the way, I was always messy with the canned goop, but haven't had any problems with pucks and brushes.

I wear a pair of shorts or lounge pants when the girls are home. If it is just me and the wife I will be nude. Just have to live dangerously some times. Lol

Just a towel, regardless of who's around or what temperature. I'm the kind of guy that wears flip flops in winter though, so...

It is possible to drop a razor, however rare that might be. On that basis I like to keep vulnerable body parts covered.
