Something I'd like to see on this site
I'm not putting this in the site suggestions cause this one is for all you pros out there.
Our wiki has a few shave videos showing you how to shave with an SR (and for general knowledge they are really good), but I would love to see some of the experienced members do some video shorts of the problem areas they have overcome. Nothing long or fancy, just quick video shorts with a member saying something like...
"If your facial structure and hair is similar you may have a problem with this area. I'm going to show you how I tackle this particular problem...".
It would probably fill in a lot of gaps for people who have issues with say, a pronounced jawline or hair that grows in a funny direction.
I dunno, just a random thought I had.

I agree, as I have been having trouble going directly against the grain on my neck. It grows almost directly left to right, but angle just a little bit downward, and I haven't quite gotten the hang of getting right at it yet.

I also have a problem with the neck area and my chin is killing me. Have benn at this for a year now and my shaves are very good except in those areas. Some videos would sure help.

A very good idea indeed.
Some thoughts for the mean time:
Try approaching problem areas from different directions. More passes in the same direction may help a bit, but not at the expense of the irritation many passes will cause. I'll only do an area once in one direction, then I reapproach from a new direction next pass if I need to.
Ridges and contours can be tough, but often you can stretch the skin so that you're shaving on a flat area. For example, for the jaw line, if you stretch the skin up, you can get that skin onto the bottom of your cheek, and it will be much easier to shave.
Neck can be tricky, especially when the hair grows at a funny angle. Just keep in mind, you don't have to go ATG to get a really great shave. When you make a good pass with a good razor, your face should feel BBS when rubbed in that direction. If the alternative is irritation and frustration, almost is good enough!
